Little Feet First, Inc.

Our Mission:

We give all children the perfect platform for their educational, emotional and physical development.

Our Mission

Little Feet First, Inc. has been a leading child care provider in Westchester County for 20 years. We pride ourselves on high quality care and curriculum that sets the stage for your child’s education. Whether they start here as an infant or toddler, the day to day schedule is adjusted based on age and needs.

Our Programs

As per New York State regulations, our program can start accepting infants as young as eight weeks old. While this seems very young to most people, today’s economy and stresses don’t allow as many families the flexibility when choosing between a childcare center, a nanny, or a stay-at-home mom. At LFF, we make sure to accommodate families who need that flexibility with care from eight weeks old to 5 years of age, and extended early and late hours.

At such a young age, infants require love, nurturing and touch that they crave. With a smaller environment, we have a 2-1 ratio for infants to adults to give them the proper attention. Unlike most daycares, we are breastmilk friendly and feed by hand without any propping. Throughout the day, they are involved in tummy time, reading, music and we help reach their developmental milestones.

School-age children have an entirely separate space for homework and computer work, as school requires. They are with their own age group to stimulate growth and learning.

Toddlers at LFF are involved in a full pre-school curriculum that gets them ready for school. They are taught letters, names, numbers, etc. We pride ourselves that our current three year olds can write their first and last names!

Daily outdoor play to keep them stimulated, weather permitting.

Our Impact

“Little Feet is great! My son has been going here for 3 months now and has grown in three month in ways I cannot believe! The staff is always pleasant and reassures me he is having a great day. Love this place so much!” - Barbara A

2 - 1

An in-home group daycare allows for your child to have more individualized attention than at a traditional center. Infants under the age of two have a 2-1 ratio to teachers. Toddlers 2 years and above have a 6-1 ratio.

Years Serving westchester

We pride ourselves for being in business longer than any other provider in the area.

Weeks to kindergarten

Most of our children begin their time at LFF from infancy. We accept children at 8 weeks old and they can continue their time here until kindergarten.

LFF is a non-denominational daycare program that celebrates all holidays with crafts and parties for the families to be a part of. We host Santa Claus for Christmas, the Easter Bunny for Easter, 4th of July, Valentine’s Day, and more!

Everyone deserves special recognition on their birthday, especially your cute little one! For everyone’s birthday, we dedicate a snack time to sing “Happy Birthday” and enjoy cupcakes with their friends. Any allergies, we are sure to accommodate.

In addition to local park trips throughout the spring, summer and fall, we coordinate trips off site several times a year. These trips can include local farms, Bronx Zoo, petting zoos, sprinkler parks, etc.
